The gameplan
Touch down in Hanoi and get met by your private car and guide for a smooth transfer to the hotel. Settle in, meet the crew and take the evening at your own pace in the buzzing Old Quarter. Overnight in Hanoi.
After breakfast, drive out to Ninh Binh. Explore Hoa Lu, Vietnam's ancient capital, then a boat through the UNESCO-listed Trang An landscape and a cycle around the village. Finish with the climb up almost 500 steps to Mua Cave for a panoramic view over Tam Coc before returning to Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi.
Scenic drive to Halong, then board your day cruise through the limestone islands. Enjoy a set-menu lunch on the water, visit the stunning Sung Sot Cave, go kayaking or bamboo-boating through Luon Cave, and hike up TiTop Island for the classic bay view. Sundeck fruit-and-wine party as the boat cruises back to harbour, then return to Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi.
Morning flight to Da Nang and transfer to your hotel. In the afternoon, ride a bamboo basket boat through the waterways of Cam Thanh Coconut Village, then wander Hoi An Old Town β the Phuc Kien Assembly Hall, centuries-old merchant houses and the iconic Japanese Bridge. As night falls, take a lantern boat ride on the Hoai River and soak up the glow of the lantern streets and night market. Overnight in Da Nang.
Ride one of Southeast Asia's longest cable cars up to Ba Na Hills. Walk the world-famous Golden Bridge held aloft by giant stone hands, explore the French Village, Le Jardin D'Amour gardens and Linh Ung Pagoda, then hit Fantasy Park's rides and the Lava Train before cruising back down to Da Nang. Overnight in Da Nang.
Breakfast at the hotel, then a private transfer to Da Nang airport for your flight home β camera roll full and a whole new crew of friends. Trip ends.
