Day 1: Arrival + Walking Tour + Backpacker Street
Welcome to Ho Chi Minh city (HCMC). A capital with nearly 9 million people, HCMC is a bubbling pot of energy, excitement and hidden gems.
Meet the gang and head out to Ben Thanh Market. Our in-the-know Trip Leader will take us to all the local spots for pho, spring rolls and egg coffee – trust us, it’s good. Then: head to Bui Vien (aka backpacker street) to experience HCMC’s nightlife. Oh yes, this is the right way to get the Vietnam party started.
Pull out your history hat – we’re off to visit the Cu Chi Tunnels. Surrounded by jungle that was once a stronghold of the Viet Cong, take a guided tour of the area and learn all about how this underground network was used by guerilla fighters during the Vietnam War. The most adrenaline pumping experience at the tunnels is the option to fire real AK-47s/M16s in the shooting range.
Later tonight, gather your squad and head to one of the highest rooftop bars and enjoy the panoramic views of this city in all its glory.

Book your arrival flight to Ho Chi Minh city (SGN). Any flight that lands before 3 pm on day 1 is suitable for this trip. Hotel Check-in time: 2 PM
Return:
Book your return flight from Hanoi (HAN). Any flight that departs anytime on day 8 is suitable. Hotel Checkout time: 12 PM
Please Note:
VietJet & Vietnam Airlines have direct flights for Hanoi & Ho Chi Minh city from Mumbai, Delhi & Ahmedabad. You might not see these flights on MMT/Goibibo, we recommend you search on Skyscanner.
Travellers from other cities can book connecting Indigo flights which fly via Kolkata. Timings are bit odd though.
Airport pickup & dropoff are not included but cabs like Grab/Gojek are easily available for cheap. Our team will assist you on this.
